Born the granddaughter of migrants to Detroit from eastern Kentucky and northeastern Mexico respectively, Kelly was raised by professional artists in the Michigan countryside. Birthing her daughter in 2015 and son in 2016 and inspired by feminist theology, she/her lives and creates in Los Angeles, California where she enjoys mothering, slow fashion and meeting small dogs.
